Acquired by Evergreen Housing in 2007, Windham Apartments is a historic, seven-story, 59 unit apartment building in Seattle’s upscale Belltown neighborhood. Providing much-needed, affordable urban housing, Evergreen used tax credits for both low-income housing and historic preservation—maintaining the building's original elegant entry and brick facade. Each studio and one-bedroom apartment is updated with new kitchen and technology wiring, while preserving original hardwood flooring and mill work finishes. Residents are within walking distance to Seattle's other entertainment hubs at the Seattle Center, Pike Place Market shopping and the downtown waterfront. Public transportation weaves throughout the neighborhood, and I-5 freeway access is nearby. Windham Apartments was sold in 2019.
